Nutritional therapy is recognised as complementary medicine and aims to promote optimal health and lifestyle through nutrition science. It is a whole-body, individualised approach, tailored to identify and address potential imbalance and dis-ease in the body, rather than focusing on a range of symptoms.
It employs a wide range of tools to thoroughly assess each individual’s health status and support the body’s own natural healing potential through dietary and lifestyle changes.
Nutritional therapy can often work alongside conventional medicine. While people can see transformational positives in their health and wellbeing by implementing changes to their diet and lifestyle, clients with ‘red flag’ signs and symptoms are always referred to their GP. In addition, nutritional practitioners will always work alongside and communicate with other healthcare professionals involved in your care to explain any nutritional programme that has been provided.
What should you expect from your consultation?
At Complete Health Solutions, you will be seen by a fully qualified and registered practitioner. Each consultation is on a 1-1 basis, either in person or online. The advice is always individualised, rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach. Outcomes will be based on a detailed health assessment, patient goals, dietary preferences and lifestyle.
